Founded by Dr. Jean-Luc Sandoz, a wood material expert and author of Civil Engineering Treatise – Volume 23: Building with Wood, our approach combines scientific rigor, field experience, and technological innovation.

With a PhD in wood quality, Jean-Luc Sandoz laid the foundation for an integrated approach linking material characterization, structural diagnostics, and constructive optimization.

This dynamic has led to the development of two internationally recognized tools:

Sylvatest, an ultrasonic technology for the non-destructive evaluation of wood’s mechanical properties,

Polux, a portable device for on-site diagnosis and inspection of wooden utility poles in service.
