At the Carrefour International du Bois, CBS-CBT will take part in a conference dedicated to the reuse of timber in structures, a key issue for more sustainable construction.

Entitled “Reuse of timber in structures: how can its use be facilitated?”, the conference will take place on Wednesday, June 3 at 3:30 p.m. and will bring together several experts in the field.

Gaétan Miguet (CBS-CBT) will present SYLVATEST, its applications, and its approach to wood characterization. He will also share a holistic vision of projects, integrating diagnosis, resource valorization, and optimization of structural performance.

This contribution is part of a collective discussion alongside Benoit Legouge (EBB – Études Bois du Barrois / IBC – Ingénierie Bois Construction), Julien Lavoine (Julien Lavoine Charpentiers), Pierre-Luc Le Goff (Alpes Contrôles), and Clément Boudaud (École Supérieure du Bois), aiming to overcome technical and operational barriers to timber reuse.
