An exceptional venue designed by Kjetil Trædal Thorsen (Snøhetta) will host the Oslo International Timber Conference on June 4–5, 2025. On this occasion, Jean-Luc Sandoz, Ph.D., will speak on June 4 to share our vision: “More engineering, less material.” How can we build by optimally using wood resources? How can we place each material, each wood species, exactly where it performs best? How can we design simple structures, free of glue, reversible—even dismantlable? And above all, how can we reuse structural wood thanks to our deep material knowledge and our trusted diagnostic tool, Sylvatest—always with the goal of storing CO₂ in the long term… the very long term.
