Led by Zacharie Faure – Wood Construction Prescriber – Fibois AuRA - With climate change, the French forest, particularly in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, is experiencing massive attacks from pests (fungi and insects) that are weakening many tree species, especially the spruce, which is a victim of the bark beetle. The harvesting and valorization of these woods in long-life cycles such as construction is a major challenge that the entire industry is preparing to address.
